We have adopted a Minimize Landfill Policy. We strive to donate or recycle everything that we remove. Because of our dedication to a clean and safe environment, your appliances, electronics, furniture, clothing, scrap metal, etc., will not end up at the dump. With appliance recycling in Richmond, VA, we will ensure that after junk removal appliances will be donated and not thrown away.

We pay special attention to electronics like computers, cell phones, TV's, stereo equipment, etc. These items contain dangerous toxins like lead, mercury, barium, chromium, and a whole list of poisons that would seep into our groundwater were it not for our Minimize Landfill Policy.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE JUNK?

We donate all we can to Goodwill, Salvation Army, as well as to churches and to individuals. We even retain items for the personal use of our employees.

Our goal is to minimize waste and avoid the landfill as much as possible. We currently recycle from 50% to 75% of all we get. We only take to the landfill what we cannot donate or recycle.

TOXIC MATERIALS: Paints, oils, and other toxic chemicals cannot be dumped into the landfill. We handle and price them separately.
